fried rice

last night i was at a car show at a local parking lot, as i was leaving the funniest looking thing i have seen in the last month pulls up behind me, when we turn onto the road he pulls up next to me, its a puke green civic del slow with bmw z3 fenders and "custom" fender flares in the rear, looks like he bondo'ed some pep boys fender flares on there and forgot to paint em, his top was off and he was blasting some doctor dre, at the stop light he revs his rice can up at me and gives me this look like, check this out, he squeeled the tires and took off when it turned green and i gave him about 50 feet as i was slipping my clutch out like a normal drive in first gear, when i was rolling at about 20 i punched the gas for like 2 secods and shifted, punched the gas for another two seconds and had him by 2 cars and didnt even break the speed limit, when we stopped at the next light i turned down my music and asked him where his bmw engine was? he gave me this "fuck you" look and squeeled off, moral of the story, civics = teh lose

yeah rice = teh suck especially when its a honda

sheesh..thats crazy, but i wouldn't call alpines 2005 civic si rice....all concept and pure bass machine.

i think it cost like 250,000k and that was with getting things from companies for free as well...

but u should race my co-workers civic, he runs like 13.5 at the track, ls vtec turbo...but his is a sleeper and waits for people to race him....

Talk to any guy that drives "American Muscle" and our rides are rice burners too. Just all depends on how you look at it. Although I don't really care for hondas too much, i've seen some pretty cool things done to them and they run forever. I can't critisize any car's longevity. Put a 95 dodge neon up to my car and I swear it will have had less problems than my 03 spec. At 65k miles here is how my car has treated me so far.

1.Tranny replacement
2.Flywheel replacement
3.Fuel pump replacement
*all those were before my warranty went out
4. Brakes/rotors SHOT at 58k [replaced with drilled/slotted :)]
5. Front end grinding noise then I turn hard right (never to be figured out by miltiple mechanics)
6. Steering feels loose and allignment keeps drifting left ( been fixe twice... prolly related to the top problem)
7. Suspension feels all but shot to shit... rides rough as hell
8. Engine is running a little rough
9. Smells like one of my cats is going out... prolly precat with no money to fix it
10. tranny crunches real bad still

haha, kinda makes me want to get a honda... I've only had the car from 52k-65.5k miles and I can never afford to mod because of constant problems. Fuck, maybe i'd be better off with a ford escort. Thought about writing nissan but I doubt that would do any good. I bought this car for 13 grand hoping that it would last me through college... let's see what happens. Anyone wanna start a pool?

i stomped a fully bolted v8 mustang with my motor swap, he was like "jesus christ what do you have in that sentra" now i only have a clutch flywheel intake and custom exhaust for my vq35 swap, but the motor is has nothing done to it, save the intake......so i say "i've got an intake" he calls BS and i open the hood, all he sees is the engine cover that says 3.5l blah blah blah, and the custom intake tubing and goes "holy shit", aparently he doesnt know the spec v sentra comes with a 4 cyl


i laughed for like 2 hours on the way home

I saw a ford escort Zx2 Cruising through traffic burning everyone and driving like he thought he was the shit so I caught him at a light. I looked over and he had his girlfriend in the car had his music up all the way (hardcore stock trebble blasting) and he starts jerking up to the light I guess he wanted to show off for his gf. It was wet outside and this guy really pissed me off when he gave me the "i'm a bad ass in my stock ford escort look" but when the light turned green he floored it without even barking the tires. By the time i grabbed traction or forward momentum he was about 3 cars infront of me. Once I grabbed my car took off like a bat out of hell and totally smoked him by about 3 cars by the time we got up to 90. At the next light he made it a point to pull behind me instead of next to me, lol. I guess he was still saving for his 3 inch piping and his fart cannon... then he probably would have been able to take me, especially if he had some phat blue flames on his car. :P

Haha that just reminds of the time when my buddies who work at a tire shop had the big box truck and I was in my brothers 95 escort with the 1.9L and 88HP and we raced...let's just say had it been a stick I think I would have won haha
