95 integra w/ remote starter problem

1995 acura integra gsr with Crime Stopper alarm & remote starter..
a few days ago, my brother put it in 1st gear and I didn't know and started the car.. few minutes later i came out and the car had butt-ramed the car in front.. I tried to start the car again (key & remote) but it didn't even crank.. I put in a new relay but it didn't do any good. i took out the brain of the CS but still can't start it w/ the key either.. the guy at a shop told me the starter is fine.. any input?

what exactly happens when you turn the key? do you here the starter spinning but not the engine? or is it just completly dead? meaning no starter or anything when you turn the key?
could the battery have drained from moving the car under starter power alone? I'm sure that kind of load, especially depending on how long it "cranked" for can really use some juice.

the battery is good.. i don't hear the starter spinning at all.. I took it to a shop, and the tech. there said the starter is good but he can't figure out what the problem is.. he said it might have something to do with the remote starter preventing it from start up..

what about any ground connections? could one be loose somewhere under the hood?
Also usually remote starters have something that prevents them from starting if they are in gear. for instance in an automatic if it senses the car is not in park it will not work. Sometimes when hooking remote starters up to manual trannies that wire can be hooked up to the e-brake light wire so that if the ebrake isn't on it will not start. Anyway what i'm getting at is maybe there is a wire such as this that is not making a good connection.
