97 Sahara. Want to wire a small stereo amp, definitely so that it will shut off when the ignition is off. What is the best way? Through the distribution box? Is there a hot lead behind the dash?

Go to AutoZone and buy an "add-a-fuze".

I dont think an "add a fuse" can supply enough amps for a sterio amplifier. Mine is wired hard from the battery through a relay so that its only on when the sterio is on. The Add a fuses are excellent for CBs and such though.
