Yet another problem now that its cold outside
420A
After i start my car no problems.. then and engine starts to warm up lil bit the end of the cams or the timming belt is rubbing up against the plastic timing belt cover and makes a pulsing rubbing plastic sound and i find it very annoying...(when i rev up it just goes faster) when i apply litttle pressure to the cover it stops... the cover is pushed in all the way and i was thinking about taking it off but it looks to difficult to take off. It does this until my engine is really warm then stops (5 min or so).... then it won't do again until my car sits for a very long time, usually overnight. I have no idea why it would be rubbing!! This is a winter only problem...

My brother had that same problem his tension pully on his timing belt was loss and missing a few bearings so i would go and get it look at by a mechanic becuase he almost lost his engine because of it. The mechanic that look at it said that he would not of made it out of town to get it fixed with out blowing his engine.
