2003 vibe gt cold air intake. fitting into a 2003 matrix xr ???
ok, well my buddy has a 2003 vibe gt. he put in a injen cold air intake. now i was wondering if i could take it off his car and apply it to my 2003 toyota matrix Xr ? ur response and help is greatly appreciated

My understanding is that the Vibe and Matrix are mechanically identical, so the parts should fit.

The vehicle design is Toyota, as is the engine, and tranny. Assembly is done in an old GM plant that was previously closed. Joint GM/Toyota vehicles have been coming out of this plant for about 15 years or so. The same vehicles, just badged differently.
