It's not so much a problem as it is an inconvenience, but I was just wondering if there was a reason I have to leave my car quite literally warm up...the heater won't blow hot air til I'm a good 5 miles down the road or after leaving it idle for 10 minutes...is this just typical chrysler or is there something I can replace to help with those morning rush days where I just can't wait for the cabin temperature to rise to habitable levels? :p

...or low coolant level. If the heater core isn't getting full of hot coolant it won't have heat to pass on from the fan. Easy enough to check out.

well the t-stat is new and i do have low coolant level, but if i put in any more it will boil over after a long drive. doesnt bubble while running when it's full. it doesnt overheat...it actually never reaches halfway, it just boils over...

Ok check the rad cap. It should not be boiling over.

My heater was working poorly, what you can do is switch the incoming and outgoing heater vents. What may be wrong is that it has gotten a bit dirty inside and this will clear out the build up. It is wise to change back after period unless it continues to show results!

My 94 lebaron has very little heat. I had the thermostat and radiator cap replaced at the mechanic. When I rev the engine up to about 2500 rpm and hold it there it warms up alot but as soon as I drop off of the gas it cools again. Any Ideas The anti-freeze is full.

It sounds like the same problem noted above. You probably have low coolant or a tired waterpump. BTW coolant will transfer more heat to your heater core than water will because water boils and turns to steam and coolant just gets HOT.
Good luck with it!

Very common for the heater core to plug up, especially if stop leak etc has been added, had to flush the core on my lebaron twice to get any heat, use
the chemical CLR and let it soak in the heater core for a few hours then flush it alot with water. Remove both hoses, plug the bottom hole and fill the top with the chemical and just let it sit, the longer the better, seems to happen on alot of mopars eg shadows, acclaims, mini vans etc
