where is the diagnostic port on a 1990 pontaic lemans le with 1.6 motor can not find under dash or hood help

where is the diagnostic port on a 1990 pontaic lemans le with 1.6 motor can not find under dash or hood help
If it is similar to the 1991 1.6 Lemans, it is located inside the car on the RHS -passenger side- kickboard. Their is a plastic cover that needs to be removed to access the port.
I used an Autoxray code reader but recieved an error codes that vacilated between "51 Prom Error" and vehicle not responding. When a pulled a sensor however the reader did correctly report a low reading for that sensor.
Hopefully you get good results.
