tail and brake lights

I had one right rear brake light out. Bulb was fine but tried another anyway. While messing with right rear turn/brake socket, the tail lights quit working on right and left. I tried replacing the 3 hole connectors that hold the bulbs. Now, the left rear lights all work except tail light. On the right rear, tail light, brake, and turn light does not work. Backup lights work fine on both sides. I have looked for blown fuses, etc. Any suggestions?

JTIM: Please keep in mind that we need the year and what ever other info you can give us about your ride. There are a lot of posts in this forum about tail lights. They seem to be circuit boards that were "cold soldered" from the factory and have a tendency to fail at the solder joints. Some guys have resoldered and fixed the problems. I had intermintent brake and turn signal problems on the right side of my "98 Sub K2500 7.4". I took the unit out and put a whipp'n on it and it's been good for 2 years. Actually I just took it out and looked at and put it back in. Sounds like you may have some other problems too, but the factory cold soldering seems to be the major culprit. Good luck.
