I've had a closer look at my truck today after taking it to the shop to have the tranny dropped and the freeze plugs replaced. The dripping has stopped. The didn't put a couple of brackets back on (ATF transmission cooler lines and O2 sensor), the tranny fluid was a quart low (they replaced a couple of short rubber hoses and their clamps on the ATF cooler lines), and they bent the flange that the tranny housing bolts to (prying the bellhousing off?). Also, it looks like they poured some stop leak in my new radiator (copper colored powder around the fill neck of the radiator). Although I didn't have the ability and knowledge to make this repair, it's frustrating to take it to a shop and not have it done the way I'd do it. Thanks for letting me rant!

Look at the bright side :uhoh: . As long as it's fixed, $570 beats the heck out of buying a new/used vehicle! Keep an eye on whatever they botched up & have them fix it if problems arise.

G/luck
Joel

Yeah. Gotta say overall I'm happy to not have a payment!
