coolant loss/no heat

i have a 2000 dak r/t, that seems to have a coolant loss or leak. when i turn the heater on, i get no heat. then after its ran for awhile the heater will start working a little, but only on low fan. if u turn it on high fan it starts blowing cold air again. i have no signs of a leak anywhere. any ideas? thanks

Did you check the front passenger foot well to see if the carpet is wet??

Well, I just had the Evap Core replaced yesterday, and maybe the heater core, but the radiator shop said that the heater core still looked really good. Anyways, I haven't gotten to use the heater until this morning due to it's just now cold enough, and it wouldn't get warm hardly at all. It would get like barely luke warm . My truck is getting about 180 degrees, but no warm air really at all. I let it warm up for about 10 min., then drove to my parents house this morning, left there and drove to work, and still nothing.

Any suggestions on what to do? Radiator guy said that maybe there's an air lock, but if that was the case, wouldn't my temp guage get too hot, or not hot enought too? Anyways, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

**Fixed** Well, last night I took the female adapter off my washing machine and hooked it to the end of my garden hose. I then unhooked the heater hose outlet (driver side) from the water pump, and also unhooked the inlet side (passenger side) where it splices about half way down the hose from the firewall. Next, turned the hose on, and held it up against the outlet hose and blasted all the gunk out of my heater core. Let it run thru for a few minutes until there was only clear water. Then hooked it all back up, all of this maybe took 15 minutes. This morning, started the truck, 5 min. later, HOT air!!!!!! This kicks A$$, haha. The little things in life I guess...
