Hey Guys i have a 92 RS camaro..and the car over heats... but the fan only turns on with i put the air on... what do you think is the problem? thermostat? any ideas?

fan turn on temp switch. Its in the passenger side head if im not mistaken.

Yeah, sounds like the thermostat. I'd replace that, and also you shouldnt run the car when it overheats easily, could get ya a nice blown head gasket.

the cars designed to run hot.how hot is it getting? i believe the fan comes on only after about 210 degrees.

Not if you have it programed to stay under 160 :icon16:
But yeah explain how hot the car gets and when it heats up, whether it be during driving or just sitting.
