I'm having a problem locating my starter. I need to replace it because of a starting problem but I cant seem to follow the battery cable all the way to the starter. Any suggestions?

its in frount of the engine, in frount of the oil pan. Its on top of the plastic removeable plastic shield that hieds your oil filter, its right blow the oil filter and above the plastic shield.
