98 s10 blazer quits running

My 98 blazer unexpectedly stalled, was able to restart but for the next 15 miles would die or almost die as if running out of fuel. The last time restarted and ran another 40 miles with no problems. Any guesses??
fuel pump, modulator??

If you haven't changed the fuel filter in a while change ti, and if it still acts up get the fuel pressure tested

Thanks for info. Been 50K or so since fuel filter change will try that first
