need help with O/D button

the O/D in my car is always on, the button will click in and out but there is somethin wrong with the wires and it wont go off, any1 kno how to fix this? or had the same prob and kno wat it is?:confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

do oyu have an after market shifter? if so then you might have lost connection with the wires and those are a bitch to pull back out. If you have the stock shifter then you can take a peak at the connections but BECAREFUL not to lose any piece. You can always have a mechanic fix it too

ive taken that center consol out 2 times now tryin to figure out wat is wrong, the wires that go to the button look fine, i still have the stock shifter. ya i kno i can have a mechanic fix it, but they prob charge me out the ass and wait 4 days before they get around to it.

if its stock and the connection looks fine then it has to be the computer. Everytime you turn on your car the O/D should reset back to the on position. Once my O/D stayed off and i had to pull over adn turn my car off and on to get it back to normal. If it is the computer then you might be able to get the dealership to fix it if you have warranty for that. If not then it still good to get it done by people that know nassan computers
