Dash and console

Like the lunk I am I dropped part of the lighter assembly behind the dash. Now I can't get the darn part out. I don't really want to buy a new part and I'm afraid it would annoy me to know end if I left it there specially if it rattled. As I want to resurfice the center console anyway I tried to remove it to help make it easier to remove the lighter part. I removed the three obvious Philips screws but it's still held down somehow. SO, I need obvious help. Would anyone care to help with this should be simple, time eating, all consuming repair???

there are the two under the cupholders in the front and the two cupholders in rear halfway slide out and up and there are somemore screws under there also in all there are 4 or 5 i can't remember exactly. Also when you get it unscrewed you will have to disconect the 12v conection in the front.

the console in my 2000 only has one cupholder in the rear. It has a screw as do the two in front. they have been removed but the console is still firmly attached.
