Hey guys, long time without any new project, but i started something new. Now i made some significant progress, so i can show it to you.
The subject is the famous "one gti", i attempt to give it an oldschool look, with fuchs wheels, no bodywork, or at least no bodykit. The mk.1 is my favorite of all golfs, and one of my favorite "gti fighter".
Well, the plan is : dropped to the ground, home made fuchs wheels, maybe some chrome, et voilą !
Now some pics, in the early stages:

The fuchs design is from the tamiya porsche turbo, inserted into a small rim i had, with tire from a mini-Z (perfect size i think).
Thanks, comments and suggestions are welcome of course.

Hi Alex,
nice work so far, except that the GTi I doesn't has five-hole rims/hubs  .
But what kit do you use for it?? I'm looking for a GTi I kit since months, but never found one . :crying:
Take care

The 4 to 5 hole is a common conversion on VW cars, so i guess it's not a problem.

Sorry i forgot that question. It's from mitsuwa, in fact it's an old motorised kit, quite rare from what i've heard.
