defrost foggin up

I hav a 99GTP and its finally cold here in michigan and whenever i have the heat on doesnt matter which setting all my windows fog up...the rear def does its job and hwen i have the front def on its jus clears up a lil spot but all my other windows stay foggy it did not do this last winter and it really sux cuz i have tinted windows and its hard to see out of them as it is so any ideas why its doing this and not working properly?

Check to see if the compressor is kicking in...It may not kick in when its below freezing outside....when set on defrost, fan on high, check to make sure no air is coming out of floor or front vents...only up top....did the interior get wet in the last month or two? Check under the mats, on the passenger side, front and back, see if its wet or damp...Even dampness in the trunk can cause windows to fog as the car sits for a while.

yah i found out today when its on def air still comes out teh vents same if its on thefloor it comes out the vents too ??

and i realized some of the "fog" is turning into ice and freezing
