Here's the way I would do it. First you have to remove the cover around the steering column. (Photo 1)

There are four screws located on the underside of the cover. (photo2) Remove them. At this point only the lower half of the cover can be removed.

Now remove the four bolts that hold the steering column. (Photo3)

At this point the steering column will drop down and you can remove the upper part of the steering colum cover. Now remove the three screws above the instrument cluster. Not sure but these may be Torx head screws. (Photo4)

Now there are three more screws to remove on the underside of the plastic. (Photo5). You can then remove the dark colored plastic and repair the switch.
