Transmission Problem On 2001 Maxima??

PLEASE HELP

I own a 2001 Nissan Maxima automatic with 66,000 oringinal miles.

While driving this morning on the highway (70 mph)....
the car begin to slow, while in drive.

The car came to a complete start.
I shifted to park and then back to drive, no movement from car.
I put the car into first gear and then drove the car off the highway at 5 mph.

WHAT COULD THEN BE????

At 57,000 I had the shift solenoid replaced along with the transmission fluid and filter......PLEASE HELP ME..WHAT DO I DO...???????

- check a/t oil
- 9k miles after solenoid swap: points heavily to unproper repair or bad spare. I'd want to find out the facts... problem might be the shop which could want to hide em & charge? At least contact the shop, hopefully it has warranty which they honor...
(If problems of responsibility of who pays do arise, consumer has some basic rights, find out yours before letting them to touch the car... dont let the shop 'destroy evidence'. Prepare always to worst, everythin has to be written.)
