hey people my automatic 95 lx shifts hard and makes clunk noises when im coming to a stop. would changing the tran. computer work?

I would check the motor mounts first. You might find a couple of them broken. Rough shifting can be caused by dirty tranmission fluid. Have you check/changed it within the last 20K miles?

yeah ive changed the fluids. ima check the mounts right now

rough shifting isnt very good, could be back fluid, dirty fluid, torque converter,etc..i dont think it would be engine mounts

Clunking when starting or stopping could be motor mounts.
