Take a look at this: http://www.hlj.com/product/GNZGT04

Any review or opinion about it? I would like to know if it's worth the money they ask for it :)

I'd like to know if anyone has tried this as well?
I don't know how many times I've looked at it at HLJ?

Why would you need one Rob? Isn't it always perfect weather in God's country?

On a serious note the cost of shipping something that large internationally would turn me right off.

Well, i always thought that putting your model under the box - cover or bottom part - that the model came in worked pretty good. Then just wait 24 hours. In the mean time, work on the rest of the model, cut out decals, etc. The last Tamiya spray that i used dried pretty fast - touched it after about an hour and it was not tacky, but i did leave it for atleast a week for it to fully dry. I don't know, if you want to bake your cars like a professional bodyshop, then i guess this is the thing for you. I guess it also depends on what you will be doing to the body of the car after the paint job. If you will be polishhing it and all that good stuff to make it shine, i guess you want your work to dry fast. I personally would not invest that much money. I jsut paint the body first, then i work on the chasssis of the car. Once i have let the body dry for a bout a week, i put on the decals and what ever else needs to be done.

Hi guys,

I imported this very booth from our distributor in Japan. I decided to use this for review to let my customers in Vancouver know whether or not its a good buy.

To be honest, trying it out in the middle of summer did not really impress me much. At that time, it wasn't a necessary item to have on your workbench. It was basically a good dust cover/repellent. Heading to winter now, with a current temperature of 4 deg celsius, on a damp rainy night, it is the only way that I could think of to do my modeling at 1am. (I'm writing this between airbrush cleaning and figuring out what model to do next).

The setting is fairly easy to use, turn the dial to 60 mins, and it will bake your model to a nice warm touch. I don't have the numbers to scientifically back it up, but its a good warm that helps paint dry a little faster. It won't burn your model and it won't melt it.

You can arrange the drying racks to your liking to dry a variety of sizes.

If anything, it adds bling to a modeler's workbench and makes me feel like a pro even though i'm not a pro.

Have fun modeling,
Vince
