Sputter when acclerating too fast.

Ok....
My mom's Buick PA is a '94 3.8 liter
Problem:
Idles smooth....Drives Smooth...
YET, when you acclerate too fast(like going throuh a yellow light) it starts to sputter....
No black smoke is coming from the tailpipe....
What could be the problem?
Please help!!!!

Sounds like it is time for wires, plugs, 02 sensor, fuel filter & air filter, if not changed recently.
