Lifting front end '00 Sierra 4x4

Ok, I might be really off on this one, but why can't a guy get air shocks for the front end of these trucks and adjust them up like the rear air shocks do????? I guess this seems to simple to me and that is probably why it is a dumb question.

Because of the coil spring. If you want to raise the truck keep the torsions torqued or get the front lift kit.

Besides, air shocks are really more for when you're hauling heavy loads, not to make your truck look higher. If you want your truck to sit higher, do it right.

You can look into these, http://www.suspensionmaxx.com/index.html But it depends on how high you want to go. If you're looking for anything over 2", you're probably going to have to bite the bullet and lay out the coin for a proper lift kit, otherwise, you're putting too much strain on your steering parts, and you'll never get your alignment right, and will be chewing up tires.

I have a 2wd that I would like to level out. I had a jack under front end to change oil and when I stepped back and looked at it, it looked much much better leveled out. WOuld it be easier to lower the rear end or raise the front end? (PS It only need 1"- 1.5" max either way)

Hmmmm.... So my truck is currently adjustable with the stock torsion bars? I am a little more confused after reading around that link. Looks good though. It sound slike I need the maxcamm only if my stock suspension adjustment is not enough. Can you clear this up for me?

Only if you have torsion bars. I believe your truck is 2wd, which has coil springs. Which brings me to a correction of my first post. I mentioned coil springs, 4wd has torsion bars, as mentioned not coils. I'm surprised no one noticed.

Whatever you do, please don't get a body lift.
