All of my interior lights(map, doors, rear courtesy lights) stay on constantly unless I pull the fuse. Of course then I lose all my radio presets and it urkes me :banghead: . I saw that some other people had the same problem but the posts were from last year. Has anybody found/fixed the problem? Please help I love my Concorde

your power wire is shorted to power. I've seen before on some other Chryslers that along the inside portion of the "A" pillar, you have wires that run along there that control the lights, they have a tendency to get pinched & cross wire themselves to another circuit thus shorting to power, you might want to check that out. Also, have the BCM checked out, it may not be going to sleep thus allowing those lights to turn off.

Thanx I'll check it out.....yesterday, for the first time, the lights started to dim out then just before they went completely out BOOM they came back on.

I have a simmilar problem with my 93 Chrysler Concorde! I just bought it from a private dealer last week, run's awesome, handles great, only 90 Thousand Miles. Problem is there's a short, or at least I am thinking it's a short, in the front passenger door! Everytime I hit a bump the Red Door is open light comes on, and the interior lights come on! I figured out it must be the passenger door cause when I give the door panneling a little tug, the lights go out!
I would love to just pull the fuse, however according the manual this fuse is also responsible for the Power Windows and Door Locks! Anybody got any idea's on what I should do? It's driving me nuts! Is there a wire I could just cut?

This is probably not a wiring problem. More likely the plunger that pushes in when the door is shut needs adjusting/replacing. You might also want to check the door hinges as they could be worn causing the door not to close in perfect alignment thus causing the failure to close the plunger.

that can be the problem foir both of you, check all the door plunger things to make sure they are working, then change any faulty ones, my 97 was doing the opposite, the door would open then no lights, so i just fiddled with plunger and all is good in chrysler-land again.

dont know if you fixed it but my gear shifter wont go forward all the way and that keeps mine on until the battery dies so if you have not fixed it yet you might want to try that

I went to Chrysler dealership where I was told you needed to try WD 40 spray. Try to spray all of your door ajars an latches. Every 2nd day 3 times (so 1 week).
Also change your battery and/or battery cables.
Hope these help!
