Well, just got my truck inspected yesterday...(Gads I hate having to buy new tires!) Anyway, my emissions were incredibly low.. Even with the EGR mod and some of the other things...

@idle c0%= 0.04 (limit 1.00)
@2500 RPM c0%=0.04 (limit 1.00)

@idle HC ppm=18 (limit 130)
@2500 RPM HC ppm=13 (limit 130)

@idle dilution=15.3
@2500 rpm dilution=15.2

Not bad for a CPI motor on a 10 year old truck... :icon16:

Rlith,, Enlighten me. What type of inspection was this? They actually test the car for emission. Sorry, over here in the middle of the pacific. We don't do that.

Most states here in the US have both physical and emissions inspections. Essentially here in Pennsylvania for 95 and below they run a probe to the tail pipe and run tests at idle and 2500 rpm for 3 minutes to check output, for 96+ they go in via the ECM and monitor the sensors (no probe)

I haven't required one in years, but here in BC Canada they at least used to use the probe, but run your vehicle on a dyno loading up the motor a little.

When they first started testing the people that they hired were morons that didn't care if they blew your motor up (which they sometimes did)
One idiot would aparently bring some cars up to 100mph on the dyno.

I wonder if they would give me a print out of the Dyno? Just had emissions testing done about 4mos ago, next one wil be July '07. I'll probably forget by then though.. I'd really to see my chart after the Intake and Exhaust.

I would hope that they keep the results on file, I mean how much room can it use on a disk
