Does anyone know the dimensions of the rear seats of the Coupe?

Also, will the Coupe be offered with a sun-roof?

I hope it is not offered with a sunroof, because then there goes the word Sport.

Don't know the dimensions of the back seat, but I can't fit there. I'm 5'10", and my head bumps the rear glass if I try to sit up straight. It's for small g/f and kids only IMO. You could ride back there, but I woulnd't want to do it for long. You have to slouch a lot. Leg room is fine though.

Re. sunroof, yes, it is optional.

G35 comes with sun roof and the back seats are fit only for children and dwarfs.

Power Sunroof is a $1000 option, available only on leather models.

According to MSN carpoint (http://autos.msn.com/vip/specifications.aspx?modelid=10335&src=vip)
the coupe sacrifices 5" of rear headroom, 5" of rear legroom, and 4" of shoulder and hip room vs. the sedan model.

Essentially, you could fit owls in the back seat, or maybe a child without any limbs. I'd suggest you use the back seat mainly for storing discarded candy wrappers, and the occasional luggage.

i test drove the car and my brother (about 5'10) sat in the back cause i thought if a person can't really fit back there might as well get the 350z. well he sat behind me and i put the seat as far back cause i'm pretty tall. he said that his head bumped a lil if he leaned back but that surprisingly he had leg room. more than in my civic which is a four door. so the back seat is definetly usable. i don't mean for a long ride i'm pretty sure its uncomfortable but it can be used.

i have to agree with the last post.. i was deciding between the 350z and the G35 coupe. went w/ the coupe because of the added luxuries and the back seat. the back seat fits my friends just fine, all between 5'7 and 6'. the only issue is moving the seats to let them in. its automatic and the automatic mover is a little slow.. i would have preferred a manual method for moving the seats up.

Sorry VR, it's a luxury car and you're not going to get a manual option, maybe you should consider the Z, I think Nissan will offer manual seats on the car, seeing that it is consider a sportscar in all, whereas the G coupe is consider a luxury coupe cruiser.

Good luck though on the purchase of your ride, BTW what color are you getting?

oh, not sure if you are talking to me or not but i already bought my car.. http://www.paul.bz/coupe

the seats aren't a big deal, just saying i think thats one of those "luxuries" thats actually a bit more of an annoyance than a real luxury. hopefully this post doesn't sound like a bash.. i love the car and for my needs / wants there was no other choice!! :licker:

Naw, I didn't take it as a bash, I was agreeing with you without agreeing with you if that makes sense. I was certain that you knew that you wouldn't get the manual seat adjustment in a luxury car. I know how much a manual adjustment would mean, these auto seats are just to slow and an inconvenience getting people and things in and out.

Anyway, congrats on the car, I just can't afford one right now but I do plan to buy one in the near future.

Haven't checked out your pics yet but I was about to ask what color, anyway I'll take a look at the website to see your ride. Good luck with it.

VR6 - I love your car. I think that I will start dreaming of an identical twin to it. I hope you are enjoying it.
