Timing`Belt/ Transmission

i recently had my timing belt change and i notice that my car is switching gears more differently before. in first gear my car starts getting loud at 3,000 rpms when before it used to get loud @ 4000 rpms in first gear. i also notice that when im slowing down, you can hear the transmission revving down too. i took my car back to the dealear and they adjusted the belts and it seems to help alil. im just wonder that since i had my belts replace, my car needs to get use to the new belts. on highway driven when going 80 mph my rpms be at 3,000 rpms when it was before @ 2800 rpms. ( but be4 i had the belts changed, i had no problems with m transmission revving down oor hearing noises from it).Whats going on? im hoping that its not an idling problem and lastly ive been hearing the ticking noise from the engine which i now know its a vavle problem. i hear the noise when im backing up, in my driveway in the morining after starting it up and when im stopped at a light or sign. Does any body else has this problem with there 99-03 galants? any suggestion would help with my problems with my car. overall i love my galant but those problems are minor, but other then that i jusdt wanna know whats going on! i hope someone on here has answer =) thank you and have a happy thanksgiving
