I am looking for a first car for my daughter. I found a 93 Loyale with 94K miles on it. Wondering if anyone has any suggestions about trouble spots, common problems, etc. Is it reliable and safe?
On another web site I came across a mention of head gasket failure. Is this common or just an isolated unhappy owner?
My experience is with Mazda RX-7's and Ford Windstars. I've got jack stands and I'm not afraid to use them.
Thanks,
Eric

head gasket problems consistent throughout loyales as far as i know, but it usually occurs at more like 150k miles and often doesn't at all. otehr than that, very reliable, solid cars.
i could be wrong about the head gaskets but that is my experience.
