Paint chipping on hood.

Is anyone else seeing a lot of chipping on the nose of their Colorado?
I have the dark cherry red met. and I know that dark colors chip but it seems a little excessive. :sly:
I've been looking at a bug deflector for my truck since the Chevy paint seems to be a wee delicate on the hood. I found these for $29.99 (http://www.closeoutautoparts.com/vent-24503.html) though they said that they only have a few left for the Colorado.
Anyway I'd love some in put before I go to the stealership and see what they have to say, either way I'd love to know if anyone else is having issues.
