Clinically Brain Dead

Yo, my cousins grandpa who was kinda close to our family, just got hit by a van this morning. h i t b y a v a n... wtf. he was taking his morning walk or something, and just, boom. w/e, i don't know the details on how it happened, but he was rushed to the hospital where he immediately unerwent brain surgery. They hanen't taken him out of the O.R. yet, but the docs are saying that he is "clinnically brain dead". an artery that is supposed to be supplying the brain with blook is not functioning, along with other complications. Almost turning into that whole deal of "pull the plug or let him just...sit there..." thing last year. don't worry, no media attention here. there's gonna be a quick decision on my uncles part, for better or worse i dunno, but it'll be quick, as he's already started hitting the bottle. what is this news doin' to me? well, it's got about the same affect on my mind as does the fact that Giants beat Philly. (not big on football, its fun, but... im no sports nut) I'm really not even letting it phase me right now. not that i don't understand the intensity of the situation or anything, but... w/e. shit happens.:disappoin

I just read a story in the news about man who was in an accident and was pronounced bain dead. The doctors said they should pull the plug but his mother kept saying no no no hes still alive. 6 months later he woke up fine.

Doctors dont know what brain dead really is. The human body is an incredible machine that is more resourceful than what we know.

Damn; sorry for what happened. Hopefully he'll be ok.
