Yeah, I'm talking about the 2002 FIFA World Cup. It's about two hours away from the France - Senegal game and I'm exited as fuck. Being Japanese I have to cheer my nation and I know we can atleast make it to the Round of 16. I think the final is going to be Italy - Argentina with Italy taking home the trophy. Tell me what you guys think!:ylsuper

Italy will definently take home the trophy. After just moving back from there, I've really been into soccer than i used to and they are definently an excellent team.

Didn't expect the upset by Senegal huh... I don't think anyone did.:) How about the Germany-Saudi Arabia game. That was one crazy game that I will never forget. I was thinking that Germany would win by at least 3 goals but 8?!?
For the France-Uruguay game, I think it will all depend on how Djorkaeff plays in Zidane's position. I think they should play Micoud instead of Djorkaeff but that's just me... AC Parma supporter...:D As for Uruguay, they have enough talent on their squad like Montero, Guigou, Dario Silva, and Recoba. If Senegal can beat France, I think Uruguay has enough talent to take France with surprise. I had France winning the group but that's all a question now. I think France will still qualify to the Round of 16 but as 1st in Group A, I don't know...:(

Oh, I was lucky enough to get tickets to the Argentina-Sweden game in Miyagi.:D I don't know which nation I will be supporting then but I know my country, Japan will kick some ass this World Cup.:ylsuper

France to win the world Cup (Doh!!!)
Raul to get Golden boot (Doh!!!! - Klose will probably get it)
Japan to win their Group (mmm...maybe)
Portugal to reach the Semi-Finals (Doh!!!!!)
Italy to reach the Semi-Finals (only one which looks like happening!)
Oh.....and RIVALDO should have been SUSPENDED!!! He makes me ashamed to wear shin pads!!:eek: :eek:
