86 commercial aerostar, v6, 5 speed standard

Problem: won't start/run

Checked: fully charged battery, engine spins well
lots of good spark to each cylinder (via inline checker)
plugs not wet from fuel

Ideas:
1 fuel cut off (in cases of accidents) valve actuated. Can't find reset button
2 relay to pump, if one exists, dead
3 fuel pump dead- put aftermarket one in line and let it suck through dead pump?

will pour 1/4 cup fuel down air cleaner throat to see if it will fire.

Any other ideas? Barking up wrong tree? Correct order to diagnose?

If you are still looking for the inertia switch it is behind the side panel in the passenger foot well just in front of the door. You can feel for it over the top of the panel without removing the panel. If you remove the panel you will probably trip the switch anyway when you re-install the panel! I found out about this sucker when replacing the heater core in an '87 5-speed Aero.

I can't remember if the the starter will still crank with the switch tripped.

Thanks, I'll look on weekend. It's too dark when I get home to look.
