bleeding brakes

Hey guys I just had to replace about 10 feet of brake line on my 97 LS 125K. I'm wondering if the truck needs to be running to bleed out the abs system or can I just start pumping and bleeding with it off?

You can just do a regular bleed. Start at the passenger rear wheel, then driver rear, passenger front then driver front. That way you are working from the farthest from the Master Cylinder to the closest. Hope this helps.
