Normal White glue.

I use flat acrylic paint the same color as the flocking. Brush it in rapidly (in sections), dump in flocking, dump out excess by tapping it, and continue. You can use white glue or flat clear paint as well. It's pretty easy stuff to use.

I tend to use ordinary craft white glue. I normally do half of the tub first, apply flocking and press it down, then turn part upside down to remove access and if need be use a hairdryer (on a low setting) to dry the glue and blow the unwanted bits away.

Then repeat for the second half of the tub. And zoomzoom is right, paint the tub or whatever as close a colour as possible to the flocking being used.

It's dead easy to apply and the results always look good if done correctly. Works just as well with Enamel or whatever but if using white glue and you mess up, you can use water to wash it all away and try again.

I use Testors Acryl flat clear. That way I can paint it over any color and use any color flock without worry.

Elmer's white glue. It's one of the easiest mod and the result is always pleasant.

A few years ago I started using just regular old automotive paint right from a spray can that closely matched the flocking .

Seems to hold up better during handling in final assembly. The water based glues and such have a tendency to scratch off fairly easily. . .

BAaed on my VAAAST experience (one flocking job), I've got to say that white glue works fine :) BTW that was dark grey flocking on a black base and no glue was visible afterwards.
