Headlight Problem

I have a 97 Blazer LT and just the other day my low beams stoped working. I have high beams but when i switch to low i have no headlights(Just Parking Lights). The bulbs are good. There is no power going to the bulbs. All fuses are good. I belive it is a bad relay. I know that they are located in the glove box. but what I do not know which one it is, there are 3 in there. Which one is it??? I have looked in the owners manual and the Chiltons Repair manual that i have but i found Nothing. Any help or suggestions would help! :banghead:

Hmm, if you're getting highs and not lows and your lows actually turn off, that should mean the relay is working...I would look more towards the main light switch, multifunction switch or the ground for the low beams..(Not saying it can't be the relay, but hard to diagnose without metering everything)... To see which relay it is, put your fingers on the relay housing when you hit the highbeams and see which one you feel clicking...

I tend to agree with the multifunction (I had a similar problem on my daughter's '96 Pontiac Sunfire). Although the Pontiac has the lights on the stalk, not a dash switch. Your problem may lie in the stalk switch which overrides the low beams . these switches are quite expensive ($150.00 plus), you might want to try a salvage yard unit.

As far as the relays go, switch them with each other to find out if something else doesn't work. The other two are AC and Fuel pump
(I think). There's also three relays under the hood on the firewall on the passenger side (there is on my '97 anyway)

I checked all the relays -But to my dis-may all the relays are good- All fuses are good.

If my main switch was bad none of my lights would work..Right?????

I really now think it is the multi-funtion switch but If i get one ( I will be looking for deals for one of these) HOw much of a pain will it to replace?? If someone give me directions on how to replace this multi-switch please send me a Private message. Thanks
