Thinking of buying a 1990 BMW 735iL. Its got 236,000 miles on it. Original engine. Seems to drive great and was told oil consistantly changed every 3000 miles.
How long do engines last on these cars if well maintained. Is this a risky transaction?

If its been looked after it SHOULD be OK
But obviously there are factors to be considered such as
How much?
How many miles do you intend to travel annually?
