Not a mercedes man. The only mirrors you'll find for the metro are at the junkyard. You could always adapt an auto-mirror system from another car on. A lot of fabrication work though. Or a power mirror system from a suzuki swift GTi.

HEHE..
Um well I am sure Bolle could make you a custom set of anti-glare mirror glass for the right price.

Hmmm...worth asking anyway I suppose :iceslolan I don't mind paying a couple of hundred for an auto dimming mirror if they exist. I found auto dimming rear view ones - just could not spot any side ones. Anyone tried anything else like anti-glare film or paint. I hear they exist - I've just never looked into doing this.

another option is setting your mirrors so they don't have this problem.
i learned years ago from a performance driving school to set my mirrors so there's no "overlap" between the inside rear-view and outside door mirrors. one of the side benefits is less headlight glare.
here's a description of the method. try it out. it will feel weird at first, but if you think about it and use it for a while, you won't go back to the "old" way.

Thanks for the link. Interesting and this may help although I have to say that I find that most of the problem is from the vehicles in the next lane although occasionally the ones behind are the problem. My Metro does have a day/night RV mirror (flip) - just wondering what to do about the side ones.
