If you get new forged pistons ( low compression ) do you have to redo the break in precedure? What does it take to install the pistons?
And what compression ratio is safe to turbo?
thanks

for pistons.. there are tigerlilly, i think i remeber seeing a 2.7 set awhile ago, and RIPP's pistons.. probably a few more, but cant think of them off hand
install depends on the set of pistons you get
i think ripp's are 9.5 maybe....

well, there is a long list of stuff.
break in procedure, as with any major upgrade, should be a good 800 miles.
really with this, if you dont know what it takes to install the pistons, you probably would not want to take on the task yourself.
but yeah, lower cr, you can up the boost. your car will be much more sluggish at low rpms though. a little more info can be found on what exactly piston install requires...
