6000, wont turn over

Have a 6000 that im trying to trouble shoot.

Battery is dead. Tried to jump it but it wont even turn over.

going to take the battery in for a check. After that, what should i try next.????

If the battery is totally dead it is possible that the car will not start even with a jump. Get a new battery but before you install it clean all battery connections and make sure you are getting good contact. Check all grounds and you should be fine. If it won't turn over then make sure to check the starter solenoid, it may be bad.
