(91-94) z-24 3.1 capable for mods????

I want to do a project over the summer and what i want to do is get a z-24 3.1 litre for my car, strip it right down re-do the rings,lifter,valves, etc. then i want to stick it in my car but first off i want to know two things??


1) can i put alot of engine mods on it, ex, turbo, supercharger, or mabye nos, a cold air intake, some headers and alot more???

2) could i use the original engine mounts that are in my car or am i going to have to re-do them as well as the engine???

p.s. i was told two different answers buy some mechanics, one told me i'll have to change the tranny and one told me i don't??? i think i do but what do you guys think????
