Not sure, but on my 90(It might be different) I just pulled on one side of the vent. There were no screws to take out in order to pull the vent off.
It made a horrible sound coming out, but it popped right back in when I was done fixing the vent.

i own a 99 cavalier, and i know for a fact that all models of cavalier 95 thru 99 all have the same style vents and what not. they easily pop out with no screws needed to be taken out. i know this cus i myself have ruined my vents, and had to replace them, they pop out very easily and once out they can only go back in the same way you took it out. if you carefully use a screwdriver or knife, just slide it in the side of the vent and pop one side out, then you can easily pull it out. :frog:
