my 00 lesabre has a problem the air bag light stays on the speedometer does not work or non of the cluster buttons such odometer. i checked all fuses they all seem to be good do anybody know what i can do or what else to check for. bought my car from the auction as is a mechanic told me somebody might have did this on purpose so nobody would bid on it

Sounds like the mechanic shooting you some BULL.
Go to diffrent mechanic. Someone with some good scan tools. Get the OBD2 scanned. The computer tells the code, exactly why the light is on. What side of the car to look at, what sensor in the circuit thats not responding, ETC. It may even be a clipped wire to 1 of the sensors.
Change your mechanic. Get code scanned. Then clear code with OBD2 and wait to see if it comes back on!
