Noise in front end

I've now owned both a 1991 & a 1998 Caravan. Both of them begin to develope two noises in the front end, one is the famous "Clunk" I've read about here, and I'm going to look into the sway bar links, but the other noise is more of a "Crunch" type sound when I hit bumps or even when it leans a lot. I never did figure out what it was on the '91, but it's begining to do it on the '98 now. About the exact same way & approximate miles.

On the old one, it did not help when the struts & strut bushings were replaced, so I'm not trying that this time around. I don't know if it is also the sway links, or if it is some other bushing or whatever.

I figured if both my vans did the same exact things being 7 years apart, that someone here must have come across that too, and maybe you can help.
