Got Busted...

Tongiht I was coming back from a video store it was a 45 zone and I was talking on the phone I wasn't paying attention to the speedmeter... all of a sudden light start flashing behind me... damn I had to stop and than he told me I was doing 61 in a 45... wtf.. I wasn't paying attention but I really don't think I was going that fast... so I got a ticket.. and than after I left I started driving 60MPH and the car was really loud at that speed because it's old... I really don't think I was going 61 when he clocked me... damn... I wanted to ask him for a proof because I didn't beleive it... could you ask him for the proof if you think hes lying ??

Damn people talking on cell phones while driving. Paying all your attention to the phone glued to your ear and not to the road is what gets you in accidents and in trouble with the cops. I may sound like an asshole but I've had one too many close calls with the f**king people around here. Talking away on their cell phones, making the biggest driving mistakes, and almost getting me into accidents because they don't watch where they are going.

Sorry, If we sound like asses. There are just to many accidents ocurring because of that kind of stuff. I never use my phone in the car, unless it's an emergency.

in KY you most certainly can ask them for proof.... BUT if you do, they will undoubtably find something else wrong, and write you for multiple offences, instead of just the speeding.... its just the same as when I cop asks to search your vehicle, if you say NO, that is probable cause that you're hinding something, so they can get a warrant, if you say yes, they more than likely won't search it cause you agreed to letting them.

I used to hang out with some cops, and I know a few troopers and sherriffs here. They're not ALL bad.. just the vast majority, and if it was a rookie trooper...... they'll pull ya for 56 in a 55

good luck gettin out of it.... try for traffic school man.... that way it doesn't go against your liscence.

after the fact *after you have the ticket and your both on your way* you cant get proof, its the officers word vs yours. I second that on traffic school, its alot better than taking a point on your record.

driving + cellphones = trouble. one night i was on a cellphone and turned onto a dark road luckily i had a few people in the car who told me i was in the wrong side of the road. last time i ever did that.:bloated:
