Small Oil Leak

All,
Just had the car in for a Dexcool change and they saw a small oil leak stating it may be the 2 piece pan which they said requires a dropping of the motor. Around $2500. Does this sound right to anyone? I have 97000 miles.

Unless you're getting oil dropping onto the ground, or a really bad smell from the burning oil, I wouldn't worry about it too much. If it is bad, then, yes, the engine will need to be removed to replace the case half seal. It's a near 20 hour job to R&R the engine/transaxle assembly, so it isn't cheap to fix. The $2,500 isn't too bad though.
