My 95 S10 Blazer has a Rough Idle. However it runs great at driving speeds. Before I take it in to a repair shop, I want to see if anyone has any suggestions on what I might try to check myself first ?

Almsot forgot, I changed the plugs a week ago, they were all fouled, changing them did not really improve the rough Idle. THe engine will idle up and down slightly for about 30 seconds when I first start it, and once it warms up, will smooth out slightly, but still very rough idle?

Anyone experienceing the same problem, or have any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Thankx everyone

I merged these threads for you..no need to make 2 threads on the same subject.
If you did a search, you would see there are many threads on rough idle and fouled plugs here on the forums.
The most likely senerio is that the CPI unit or the fuel lines inside the plenum are leaking.
Do you see black smoke out the exhaust when you first start the truck?

Sounds like it could be the CPI, so you have a few things to check:
-fuel pressure at the shrader valve (60-65psi is normal)
-look for puddles of fuel / washing inside the intake manifold (remove IMTV and look inside your intake with a flashlight)
-consider changing your cap/rotor/wires if you just did your plugs (unless this has been done recently)
-consider doing other tuneups (ie fuel pressure low, replace fuel filter. recharge or replace air filter. replace pcv valve)
