Paint

I've got a 2000 Dodge Stratus and I love the car but I'm not too keen on the color. I got a great deal on it so I figured I could live with the color but now it just annoys me. About how much am I going to end up paying for a good paint job. I'm not looking to go all out and get a fancy custom job, I just want a thorough color change, door jams and all. I'm thinking a silver color, maybe a bluish silver. Also, about how much more would I spend if I go pearlescent? Would that be a dramatic increase in price from the standard metallic?
