Flashing dome light

Our 1993 Dodge Caravan (yes I know we need a new one but that ain't going to happen) has the dome light flashing on and off as we drive with an occassional bell ringing that something is ajar. We slam all doors but it persists. there are two apparent contacts on the sliding door. One is the pin that extends from the sliding door to an insertion point in the van body. That pin is slightly bent but i think it is supposed to be that way. Another contact point is in the upper middle of the doorway where a door stop type device on the sliding door makes contact. The edge of the stop has cracked slightly but I can tell is that is just a top or also requires contact to be made. Any ideas what is needed for a quick and cheap repair?

the switch at the rear of the sliding door is adjustable must remove it by prying it out with a thin flat screwdriver then hold the base tight and push the center up outwards then reinstall then dont slam the door close it normally switch will self adjust slaming door knocks adjustments out the you have to re adjust every time
