Seems the previous owner had replaced the OEM wheels with some nice chrome ones and did not use the correct lug nuts. The dealer put on new tires in oreder to sell the car and the service tech's did not catch the lug nut issue, so we had the dealer replace the current lug nuts with the nuts designed for these wheels and now the wheel is snug against the rotor and no more shimmy (simple things).
