now im goin in the mornin to get new tires an a alignment. all my tires are pretty worn out anyways, doubt they would pass inspection here in a couple months. i was thinkin of putting 40 profiles on it instead of the 35s. i was wondering if any1 has heard of any1 doing this? plus i think the 40 profile will fill up the wheel wells a lot better.

Stealth, was it because you accidently changed your camber settings after you lowered your car or was your alignment bad beforehand already? Because I remember you saying kinda saying something about your alignment even before you lowered your car....that sucks man....

well when u take the bolt off an then the strut, even if u put the bolt back exactly to the angle it was marked as its not gonna be right cuz theres that drop. gotta take it to an alignment shop to get it in spec of course. but i think my alignment on the front was off b4, cuz about a year ago when i changed the transmssion i took that bolt off to drop the control arms or whatever. an there was a little bit of wear on that inside. but it has been getting worse an worse since i lowered it. an the tread just finally came off on the edges.

Oh okay, I think I get it.... When you drop your car, you gotta get an alignment job because it changes due to the drop. But Musashi was saying that I wouldn't have to change it because I was gonna be changing my shocks, not lowering it, so that's why I would be good, yeah? Hehe

ok. got the car back today with the new tires on it. they look much better. they look bulky an actually look like 40 profile even tho its 35. an it has a bunch of tread to, unlike the old tires were when i first got them :) the tires are NITTO somethin 555..but this shop couldnt align it. they actually got it up on the lift. but the way my front bumper flares out. it blocks the laser beam from hitting the piece that hooks to the wheels. so they wanted to take the front bumper off an its molded on. so now i gotta take it to another place tomarrow an see if they can do it. if not then im screwed. will have no choice but to take the bumper off. plus the wear on my tires driving to these places.....

k, finally got it aligned. come to find out the shop that said the bumper stuck out too much was feeding me bs. so now its back into spec, no need for the adjustably control arms. handles much better now.
